So spring has come and it’s time for bright colours, so why not take the chance and do bright makeup to match it? 🔴🔵
Today I did a green and gold eye! I did this look specifically because of the season, and also because green and gold compliment each other so well! These two colours put together look great on any skin tone! 🌼🍃
To achieve the true colour to the eye, remember to first apply a white base or primer. This ensures that the colour that is seen is the colour that will be on the eye, whereas when the eyeshadows are applied on the skin, it sometimes loses the vibrancy and could blend in with the skin colour.
I didn’t want to do a very loud eye, so I decided to do the normal, prepping and priming to the eye and then doing the makeup.
In the above picture I used MAC eyeshadows, MAC liquid liner, MAC foundation, NYX primer, Flormar Rotating Mascara.
The eyeshadows are great, very pigmented and soft when applied to the eyes, the liquid liner has glitter, finishing off this look perfectly. The primer allows the eyeshadows to stay on the eyes without any fall out, also allowing it to last hours on the eye without losing colour or creasing. The mascara is heaven sent, if you are a regular follower of my blog, you would now know that I’m a major fan of the rotating mascara. I’m so obsessed with how it gives the lashes a great boost in length and darkens it without the lumps that mascara usually leaves.
I usually always start with the outward part of the eye, then gently fixing a colour to the middle and therefore continuing by completing the look. As you can see, I did green on the outer and top part of the eye, blending gold into the middle and taking it a bit higher. Something extremely different to what I usually try out.
Remember, don’t be shy to play with colour, you never know how it could turn out and to your surprise it could be something that could actually work out for you. 💐

Love, Peace & Happiness Always..
Good evening. As promised, I’ve done a quick eye review. Squeezed this in after Iftaar. (The time we break fast).
Here I’ve done an eye I actually saw online and it caught my eye.. It has a golden inner eye with a sea-blue middle and a smokey effect at the end.
I finished off with a gentle black line on the eye and some mascara. Nothing fancy, but very eye catching.
• LA Girl white Concealer (on the eye to achieve the actual colour of the eyeshadows.)
• LA Girl Neon palette.
• Creative Glamour shimmer in “cappuccino”.
• NYX eye primer.
• MUD mascara.
• Catrice black liner.
To achieve this look you need a basic palette with shimmers, as you know- I love using my shimmers when it comes to eyeshadows, I always feel it gives off a very bold look to the eye especially in person!
Most of my pictures don’t do justice to the detail that I’ve put into doing the eye makeup, as I use an ordinary iPhone camera. I hope to do a photoshoot soon, and show you all some quality of the work and what a difference a good camera can make.
What looks would you suggest I do next? Pop into my comment box, can’t wait to hear from you all!
So here I am, supposed to be studying but instead I’m busy putting makeup on 🙈. Today I did a very quick job on the eye.
I used the MAC pigment (I did a review on a few days ago) as well as some Flormar eyeshadows.
I used the usual black liner and my rotating mascara from Flormar 😍 which I absolutely love, it makes applying mascara so much easier! And gives the lashes a great look! I also used my favourite going colour at the moment, Lucky by makeup designory on the lip.
I used the colour old gold in the MAC pigments which I’m actually quite impressed with. It gives off a golden-greenish colour (in person). Not sure if you will be able to see it in the pic tho.
I did this eye earlier just to keep me relaxed from all the studying.. Needed the break. And what a perfect way to relax 😋
I used the Flormar eyeshadows in a pink palette. Absolutely LOVE this brand, it’s so highly pigmented that all I had to do was dab my brush very lightly and it took on such great colour. In the middle of the eye I used some NYX gold dust. Love love, and love! I used the Flormar rotating mascara which gives a great ‘false lash’ look. And of coarse I finished this look with a black line.
Hope you ladies love this look as much I do..
