Today I’m doing a review on this lovely product that I came across when shopping at swiitchbeauty.com
This has made my life so much easier when it comes to cleaning brushes! It’s simple and so convenient as it can be taken anywhere, so this works great if you are a makeup artist or just someone who travels with almost their whole makeup kit.
The fit is perfect and very comfortable, and speeds up the brush cleaning process. It’s a very soft glove, which has different bristles for different brush sizes on either side, and I was able to wash a maximum of 3 brushes at a time and they were cleaned within minutes.
For the price of R150.00 (South African Rands), which is approximately $9,32 – it’s a bargain!
This product is the exact dupe of the Sigma Spa brush cleaning glove that goes for $39 which is R627,60 which makes the one from Swiitch a quarter of the price. 🙊
Hope the holidays were amazing!!
Since early Jan, I was back at work and studies have started again.
Today I’m doing a review on the new MAC Faerie Whispers foiled shadow that I recently purchased.
These shadows come in 8 colors, all of which are based on fairy colours, which are pinks, purples, bronzes etc.
I bought the colour ‘Joy Toy’ which was the only one that actually grabbed my attention. It’s a shimmery pink colour which could pass as champagne in different lighting.
It goes for R280 per shadow and comes in a 3g container, which is extremely strong.
The reason why I bought this shadow was because it was foiled and it’s very difficult to find them over here in South Africa, and buying them online works out too expensive due to the rand-dollar exchange.
Below I have two pics on which I’ve done two different types of eye makeup to show you how it looks when applied with MAC fix it spray, and without.
This product was worth every cent as there wasn’t fall out and a little goes a very long way! I just gently dabbed a bit on my brush and applied it to the eye 😍 and this was the results!!
As you can see without the Mac fix it spray, it’s pinkish, and with it it has a goldish tone to it!
Hope this review helped you decide whether or not you would purchase it.
Hope you all are enjoying the final stretch of 2015. It’s been pretty hot over here in South Africa, with temperatures reaching up to 39 degrees Celsius. ☀️
Today I’ve done a look that can be easily done on brides, it’s more of a natural look, with a touch of smoke to the ends of the eyes. This look will go as a dramatic bridal look, and once the ends are abit lightened, it goes perfectly for a natural bridal look. What I Used-
For the face- MAC studio fix liquid foundation.
Eyes- Prepped the eye with the NYX eye primer, then I used the Diamond Glow by Maybelline in number 6. I used a waterproof based eyeliner to complete the look, and the MUD mascara for the lashes.
Please note- in most of my images, I do not use fake lashes, it’s the actual lashes of the person once I’ve used mascara.
For the rest of the face, (which is cropped out) I used the MAC mineralize blush in the colour ‘Cheeky Bronze’ and I completed it with adding the STILA all day liquid lipstick in Beso. (both examples of these can be found in my previous blogposts)
When I have the permission to add full pictures up of a person, I will definitely do so.
What are your comments on this look? Would this be something you would go for on your wedding day?

Lots of Love,
Hello lovely people. 😀
Not sure about other countries, but here in South Africa we are now at the hardest part of the year, exams and studying which lasts all day and for those who can manage, it lasts practically the whole night too. 📚😐
Today I’m going to do a review on the makeup I did a weekend ago. Very simple yet elegant! 👸🏼
Since it was a night function and the dress was kind of silver, I opted for a subtle black and silver smokey eye and then included a bold red lip to finish off…
Products I used-
•MAC studio fix in NC35
•LA Girl beauty brick blush in the Glow palette
•Stila all day liquid lipstick
•Flormar rotating mascara
•Flormar liquid liner pen.
•Eyeshadows- I mixed some of my MAC as well as another eyeshadow palette I got from dubai.
This beauty didn’t need anything extra, not even lashes. She’s a natural, the makeup just enhanced her stunning features. 😘
It’s always a pleasure to work with sweet clients who put their full trust into your hands. ❤️
💥 What do you all think? 💥

Hi All! 😁
So it’s been a hectic week, I’ve been celebrating Eid, and went to a small town where I didn’t have any wifi to post or to check posts. So that explains why I’ve been so MIA.
I then came back and had to attend a function the next day. So I took my time and did my makeup and dressed for the occasion.
South Africa is really beautiful around this time, it’s pretty hot and sometimes if we’re lucky, it rains so we can cool off!
Moving along to my makeup. I did a blue and gold smokey eye which matched my clothing. I don’t usually go dark on my eyes because my eyes are really small.
For the above look, I used-
MAC studio sculpt foundation in NC42
For the blue eyeshadow I used the creative glamour shimmer palette.
For the gold I used the graftobian mini luster shimmer pot.
I then used the Flormar black liner to finish off my look.
I used the Flormar rotating mascara.
I also used the LA girl blush bricks as a blusher which you won’t be able to see in the above picture.
All these products are available online, however if you would like to know where else they are available, Drop a comment below and I will be sure to give you all the details.
In order to achieve the very angled cat eye look, you can use tape, that’s how I do it or you could invest in some shadow shields, I can’t really comment on the shadow shields as I haven’t tried it out yet, but I can confirm that using tape is a much cheaper alternative which works wonders.
