MAC Foiled Shadow. πŸ‘‘

Hello all!
Hope the holidays were amazing!!
Since early Jan, I was back at work and studies have started again.
Today I’m doing a review on the new MAC Faerie Whispers foiled shadow that I recently purchased.

These shadows come in 8 colors, all of which are based on fairy colours, which are pinks, purples, bronzes etc.
I bought the colour ‘Joy Toy’ which was the only one that actually grabbed my attention. It’s a shimmery pink colour which could pass as champagne in different lighting.
It goes for R280 per shadow and comes in a 3g container, which is extremely strong.
The reason why I bought this shadow was because it was foiled and it’s very difficult to find them over here in South Africa, and buying them online works out too expensive due to the rand-dollar exchange.
Below I have two pics on which I’ve done two different types of eye makeup to show you how it looks when applied with MAC fix it spray, and without.
This product was worth every cent as there wasn’t fall out and a little goes a very long way! I just gently dabbed a bit on my brush and applied it to the eye 😍 and this was the results!!

As you can see without the Mac fix it spray, it’s pinkish, and with it it has a goldish tone to it!
Hope this review helped you decide whether or not you would purchase it.
Love,

Purple glamour 😏

Good Evening all. 😁 so I’m finally doing a make up post! I did this lovely lady a few months back for my friends wedding. There were plenty of beautiful, lovely girls in which I had the opportunity to work on. 😍 in time I will show you some of them once I’ve gotten permission to use their pictures.

Below I have used-

1) Kryolan foundation.

2) My eyeshadow set I bought from Dubai. (Not any high end one)

3) MUD mascara.

4) Mixed a few blushes to get a perfect colour.

6) A suttle pink lipstick from golden rose.

7) Added some fake lashes to the eyes.

8) Finished off with a gel liner.

Didn’t have to do much on this beautiful lady, who came all the way from Maputo, her skin was flawless, her eyes were bold leaving so much room for me to fill it up! πŸ’™

We went with purple eyes, as it complimented her beautiful dress in which you can see in the picture on the left.
What do you ladies think? Would you wear such a colour on the eye? (Remember it was a night function). Let me know in the comments below.

Dare to be different, yet always stay confident and be yourself! ❀️

Love always,

Emerald Green Smokey Eye πŸ’š

Hello 😘 Hope everyone has had a lovely weekend. ❀️ Tonight I did an emerald green smokey eye on my client πŸ’‹ it’s something different to most of the other eyes I’ve done. It’s a bolder look as well. πŸ˜‰

I would love to hear what you think! 😊

Here are the few steps to achieve this look:

I started off with the NYX eye primer, I really like this because it stops the eyeshadows from creasing.

Then I started with the inner eye, by adding a touch of silver, to make the eye appear slightly larger than what it is, and then applying gold to half of the eye.

On the other half of the eye I added an emerald green eyeshadow from the Kryolan palette. I then added, very gently, a black colour over. This gives off the smokey effect.

Lastly, I added the MAC Pigment to the centre of the eye for a shimmer look.

I finished the look off with a thin black liner on the eye and some mascara. ☺️

This eye is great for a party! πŸŽ‰

Lotsa love,

Evening look/Party look.Β

Morning ladies. This is a pic of a clients eyes that I done a few months back, which I absolutely loved. I used the Kryolan creme eyeshadow palette as well as some MAC eyeshadows. I used Kryolan foundation and my favorite MUD mascara to finish off.

Pic of the eyes below.
