Welcome to my blog and happy Valentine’s Day! ❤️
I finally have time to breathe as I will be graduating this year.
So anyway – let’s jump right into the make up look that will always work!
Those who are celebrating Valentine’s Day and plan on going for a supper, could do this look and end off with a bright red lipstick.
I prefer matte lipsticks as it tends to stay on much longer!
What do you think? Would you do this look?
Hello 😘 Hope everyone has had a lovely weekend. ❤️ Tonight I did an emerald green smokey eye on my client 💋 it’s something different to most of the other eyes I’ve done. It’s a bolder look as well. 😉
I would love to hear what you think! 😊
Here are the few steps to achieve this look:
I started off with the NYX eye primer, I really like this because it stops the eyeshadows from creasing.
Then I started with the inner eye, by adding a touch of silver, to make the eye appear slightly larger than what it is, and then applying gold to half of the eye.
On the other half of the eye I added an emerald green eyeshadow from the Kryolan palette. I then added, very gently, a black colour over. This gives off the smokey effect.
Lastly, I added the MAC Pigment to the centre of the eye for a shimmer look.
I finished the look off with a thin black liner on the eye and some mascara. ☺️
This eye is great for a party! 🎉
So here I am, supposed to be studying but instead I’m busy putting makeup on 🙈. Today I did a very quick job on the eye.
I used the MAC pigment (I did a review on a few days ago) as well as some Flormar eyeshadows.
I used the usual black liner and my rotating mascara from Flormar 😍 which I absolutely love, it makes applying mascara so much easier! And gives the lashes a great look! I also used my favourite going colour at the moment, Lucky by makeup designory on the lip.
I used the colour old gold in the MAC pigments which I’m actually quite impressed with. It gives off a golden-greenish colour (in person). Not sure if you will be able to see it in the pic tho.
Here’s the final product🙊
tell me what you think! ☺️
Hello 🙂 So I went on a MAC spree today.. But what really caught my eye was these mini travel MAC pigments that I got for R130.00 each. I’m quite impressed with it! It has a glitter effect to the pigment as well as a two tone shade to it which works wonders once added to the eye! Below I’ve added swatches of these pigments that I’ve purchased, I will soon upload a look in which these pigments will be used.. Enjoy 😘
